How can we help you best?
We provide the best value to our customers by continuously refining our product offering and ensuring our tailored solutions fully meet clients’ needs.
All scaleup businesses invest in marketing but many of their efforts fail to deliver the desired impact on the company’s revenue and profitability. Why does this happen?
Many growing businesses face this challenge, often due to a disconnect between marketing strategy and overall business objectives. Without a clear understanding of how those marketing activities will translate into revenue, very often companies end up with a series of disconnected campaigns that fail to move the needle on the bottom line. This happens due to a disconnect between marketing strategy and overall business objectives.
While experienced marketers can provide valuable marketing expertise, combining that expertise with the strategic and operational insights and a holistic vision of a C-suite business leader creates a powerful synergy that can drive transformative growth.ʼ
In this article below, I share how my experience in the role of a Managing Director in an international company overseeing overall business growth and commercial success blended with a multi-year marketing & sales background, and how I have blended them together – to build a powerful synergy that drives transformative growth of my client companies.
I am a business executive with 15 years of experience scaling businesses globally. During the last 3 years as a Managing Director and a Chief Marketing and Sales Director before this role, I’ve orchestrated the launch of Express Global Employment brand that is widely recognised in global Employer of Record and payroll industry into the US and UK markets. Together with the sales and marketing team I’ve built over the years, I’ve scaled this client company from 2-figure to an 8-figure business, expanding their presence into 190 countries (jurisdictions).
Prior to this, I oversaw the launch of new brands into the foreign markets (first in CIS) and for the last 10 years – into the US, UK and European markets. I’ve grown the company importing laboratory reagents and equipment for Synevo brand (part of a large medical holding “Medicover” with HQ in Stockholm, Sweden) in 9 CIS countries while achieving USD million total annual revenue.
Today at Aim2Scale, we create high-impact marketing strategies for our client companies across industries like global HR, EOR, payroll, recruitment, IT & Telecom, Technology, Fintech, Edtech and Medtech industry sectors.
Drawing on this strong hands-on sales and marketing expertise, and overall managerial experience, I have combined and launched a Fractional CMO solution – to help scale other client organiztions fast and cost-efficiently, and without a full-time CMO price tag.
With this solution, I bring in the holistic understanding of the business—how marketing influences sales, impacts customer lifetime value, and contributes to overall profitability. This, in its turn, helps me transform your marketing actions so that they contribute meaningfully to the company’s bottom line, driving growth and long-term success.
My Managing Director’s experience brings a wealth of strategic and operational insights that add unique values and benefits to a Fractional CMO solution that I offer, such as:
1. Holistic Business Perspective: I have a deep understanding and perception of the business as a whole, from operations to finance and beyond. This perspective ensures that the marketing strategies devised by the Fractional CMO align seamlessly with the company’s broader objectives, such as market expansion, operational efficiency, or shareholder value.
Value: Marketing decisions are informed by company-wide priorities, enabling strategies that support sustainable growth.
2. Revenue and Profitability Focus: While a Fractional CMO is inherently revenue-driven, an MD brings an added layer of insight into cost management, margins, and profit optimization. This knowledge ensures that marketing initiatives contribute not only to revenue but also to profitability.
Value: Marketing strategies are evaluated and optimized for both top-line growth and bottom-line results.
3. Strategic Decision-Making: my strong experience and skills in high-level strategic planning and decision-making enhance my ability of a Fractional CMO to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively – to ensure that marketing efforts are targeted toward the most impactful opportunities.
Value: Marketing strategies are aligned with long-term business goals, reducing the risk of wasted efforts or resources.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: As a Managing Director of a multinational company operating and serving clients in 190 jurisdictions, part of my job was to align and integrate various business functions (sales, operations, HR, etc.) fostering better collaboration between departments and multi-cultural teams. For example, I was involved in aligning sales and marketing teams alongside with replacing and transforming several systems (CRM and marketing automation) into a single ERP platform allowing all departments to seamlessly track every step in the journey from lead to conversion, deal signature and becoming a client.
I call it “Making your sales teams fall in love with your marketing people”. When both teams understand clearly the common business objectives and their key results all of them are trying to achieve, this creates a strong.synergy between the two teams opening up space for collaboration and improved communication, – Natali Oprya, our founder says.
Additionally, I was in charge of integrating marketing efforts with operational capabilities. By improving communication with the existing clients, getting regular feedback from them, we have refined our product offering with marketing for the new clients and have come up with an attractive upsell product that resonated with the client needs, resulting in increased profitability.
Value: I can help you ensure improved alignment across departments, leading to more cohesive and effective business execution.
5. Leadership and Change Management:as a Managing Director in the past in addition previous C-level CMO and global BD & Sales Director, I excel at building and leading sales teams, driving change, and managing crises. These qualities empower me as a Fractional CMO today to implement transformational marketing strategies, negotiate efficiently with stakeholders and secure buy-in from them, as well as navigate resistance to change among the teams.
Value: Marketing strategies are executed with stronger leadership, overcoming organizational barriers to success.
6. Market Positioning and Competitive Analysis: as a Managing Director in the past and a Fractional CMO today, I have developed a skill to quickly dive into various niches and industry sectors and get a strong grasp of the competitive landscape and the company’s market positioning. This insight enhances my Fractional CMO’s ability to craft strategies that differentiate the client’s brand and helps seize the unique market opportunities.
Value: Sharper, more competitive marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences and outperform competitors.
7. Scalability and Growth Insights: With experience scaling businesses, in all our solutions I concentrate on which growth levers to prioritize, such as entering new markets, launching products, creating impactful lead-generation campaigns or investing in technology, or hiring talent in full legal compliance.
Value: Marketing efforts are focused on initiatives that drive scalable, sustainable growth.
8. Accountability and Results-Driven Culture: I bring in a culture of accountability and focus on KPIs, enhancing my Fractional CMO’s ability to measure and report the impact of marketing initiatives. This ensures that marketing contributes to measurable business outcomes.
Value: Clear metrics for success, ensuring that marketing is both accountable and impactful.
9. Stronger Stakeholder Relationships: as the C-suite executives MDs always negotiate with the company’s stakeholders like management boards, CEOs and also act as a bridge between the company and external stakeholders, including investors and partners. In my case, this helps me to quickly find common language with the stakeholders, understand key motivations and business objectives they are pursuing and break them down into marketing objectives and align my marketing narratives with stakeholder expectations. By doing so, I can amplify the effectiveness of a Fractional CMO solution my company offers.
Value: Marketing efforts support the company’s reputation and stakeholder relationships, driving trust and engagement.
The Aim2Scale model isn’t just about providing fractional marketing expertise; it’s about building a sustainable foundation for long-term growth. Our core philosophy is centered around building robust, scalable sales and marketing systems for your long-term success – empowering your internal “forever” teams.
We understand that bootstrapped businesses often operate with scarce budgets and resources. That’s why our model is designed to be a strategic investment, not a perpetual expense. We’re not interested in keeping you on fractional services indefinitely. On the contrary, we recognize the vital importance of building strong in-house teams. Our fractional CMO and resources come into play to enable you to get new business and increase profits on early stages when you cannot afford to hire an expensive Chief Marketing Officer in-house. You can then reinvest these profits in supporting and expanding your own sales and marketing departments. This approach allows you to scale sustainably, building your internal team strategically as your revenue grows.
Eliminating Costly Trial and Error: Maximizing Your ROI
By introducing the Aim2Scale model, we’ve effectively removed the costly “trial-and-error” phase that many businesses experience when building their sales and marketing functions from scratch.
We bring proven systems and strategies to the table from day one, minimizing risk and maximizing your return on investment. This approach, combined with the efficiency of fractional resources, can save you up to 67% compared to hiring a full-time CMO. Furthermore, our model allows for flexibility to test what works best for your specific niche, quickly tweaking and fine-tuning tactics and scaling what’s already yielding profit and results. This data-driven approach ensures that your marketing and sales efforts are always optimized for maximum impact.
Stop relying on short-term fixes. Start building a sustainable engine for long-term growth of your business.
